The pedestrianised Commercial Way is the main dining street in Woking town centre, and in recent years it has gathered an increasingly varied line-up of places to eat.
A mix of flavours
Beit Beirut brings Lebanese and Middle Eastern cooking — mezze, grills, and sharing plates — to the street, while Gordon Ramsay Street Burger x Street Pizza offers a casual, high-energy option built around burgers and bottomless pizza. Between them they capture the range of the modern town-centre food offer, from relaxed independents to recognisable brands.
Near the station
Down towards the station on Chertsey Road, there is a further cluster of restaurants and takeaways, including Indian kitchens such as 3 Rooms and familiar names for a quick bite. The Victoria Place development beside the station added still more restaurant space to the town.
Handy for a show
Because the restaurants sit within a few minutes' walk of the New Victoria Theatre, Commercial Way is a natural choice for dinner before a show — one reason the street stays busy in the evenings.
