Victorian residential neighbourhood on the western side of Woking along the Basingstoke Canal.
St John's is a residential neighbourhood on the western side of Woking, along Goldsworth Road leading out of the town centre. It dates largely from the 19th century, when housing was first built to accommodate workers at the local brickworks.
The area follows the line of the Basingstoke Canal, and the flight of locks known as the St John's flight is a well-known feature for canal walkers. St John's has local shops, a church, primary school, and good access into both the town centre and the wider borough.
