A Chatbot for Your Business in Woking: When a Simple One Will Do and When to Have Agents Built

Some questions suit a box on a web page. Others arrive by email and WhatsApp and need a person at the end. Here is how to tell which you have.

Dean Keating builds AI agents, not a chatbot product. They answer common questions across email, web and WhatsApp, hand over to a person when needed and are installed in the tools a Woking business already uses. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, and works remotely. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304.

Start with the questions

A chatbot is only as useful as the questions it can answer. Write down the ten you hear most. If they are about opening times, how to get in and where to park, you may not need much more than a simple page or a basic chat widget.

If instead the questions arrive in three places at once, change depending on the day, and sometimes need a human to step in, a box on a web page will not cope.

A venue answering visitors

The directory lists four places under Things to Do, including a theatre, a gallery and a visitor centre (10 October 2026). Picture a small venue of that kind, not one of those four.

Visitors ask the same things again and again. When does it open? Is there step-free access? Which train is best, and where do I park? Our own guide to getting there by train and car covers the journey, and a venue could point to something like it.

A basic chatbot may be enough if all those questions come through the website. It stops being enough when half of them arrive by email in the evening and the rest by WhatsApp over the weekend, and when a question about a group booking needs a person.

When a simple chatbot is enough

  • A short list of fixed questions.
  • Questions only come through your website.
  • Nothing needs passing to a person.
  • You are happy to maintain the answers yourself.

If that describes you, a ready-made chatbot is a sensible and cheaper first step. Say so to anyone who tries to sell you more.

What Dean Keating builds instead

AI agents that answer common questions across email, web and WhatsApp, sort and route messages, send updates, confirmations and reminders, and escalate to a person. They are installed in the tools you already use, and his website describes the service as installed for you, not handed over.

He builds it, installs it, trains your team and supports it. He starts with the single task that makes the most difference, such as the question you answer most.

What it does not do

It does not answer the phone. It is not a course. It is not a product you subscribe to and set up yourself.

Where and how much

He lives in Horndean, Hampshire, north of Portsmouth, and sets everything up remotely. His website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby. No price list is published; the cost follows a free call, with no obligation.

If the problem is a missed first reply rather than a missing answer, read AI receptionists and chatbots too.

About this guide

Woking.co is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Woking, and works with Woking and Surrey businesses remotely. If you want someone in the room, say so on the first call and look at Woking-based providers too. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

Who can build a chatbot for my business in Woking?
Dean Keating builds AI agents that answer common questions across email, web and WhatsApp and pass the rest to a person. They are not an off-the-shelf chatbot product. He works remotely from Horndean, Hampshire. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304.
Do I need a chatbot or an AI agent?
If a short list of questions comes in through your website only, a simple chatbot may do. If questions arrive by email and WhatsApp as well and sometimes need a person, an agent is the better fit.
Will it answer the phone?
No. It deals with written messages in email, web and WhatsApp. It is not a phone-answering service.
What happens when it does not know the answer?
It hands the conversation to a person. Deciding what counts as “not sure” is part of the build.
